Marilyn Draper

Marilyn Draper (PhD, Christian Theology, McMaster Divinity College) is Associate Professor of Practical Theology at Tyndale Seminary where she teaches courses in leadership, evangelism, worship, and reframing the church in its Canadian context. Her research interests include the small church, multivocational ministry, and women in Christian leadership. As a former church planter, ordained minister and congregational consultant, Marilyn has experienced many of the challenges faced by today’s church. But she is also hopeful, encouraged by stories of flourishing she hears from students, pastors, and the congregations she visits. Marilyn and her husband, Noel, have four adult children, a son-in-law, and are enjoying wedding preparations as the family adds a daughter-in-law later in the year.
